Being Drug Free ®, a sole proprietorship owned by Vijay Karthik Acharya ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect at drugfree.earth, how we use it, and your choices. It is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Details you provide when you enquire or register: name, email address, phone number, institution or organisation, country, state, city, and the category you register under.
- Your poster entry and any information you choose to include in it.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
2. How we use your information
- To register you for the Being Drug Free ® Poster Design Challenge and confirm your participation.
- To communicate with you about the Challenge, the campaign and related opportunities such as the Being Drug Free ® Campus Manager network.
- To run, judge and improve the Challenge and our awareness activities.
3. Your consent
When you submit your details, you consent to us processing them for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at contact@drugfree.earth.
4. When we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the campaign:
- With our payment gateway, Razorpay, to process your registration fee.
- With our campaign partners, team I and The Event League, who help us operate and promote the Challenge.
- Where required by law.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
6. Data retention and security
We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, and take reasonable measures to keep it secure.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to contact@drugfree.earth.
8. Children
Where a participant is a minor, registration and data processing are carried out with the consent of a parent or guardian.
